Very sad to hear this- I knew he had been ill, but still a shock.
Well remembered for his Nature's World festival in 'Boro' and also met him a few times at the Sun in Stockton.
A gentle man with a dry sense of humour- I was always glad to see him- he knew where I was coming from in my particular version of 'folk' and I'm always grateful for that... rest in peace, old pal
