I imagine if one dies insolvent, the council has the responsibility of disposing of one's body. After all, they can't leave it lying on the pavement indefinitely. So what if I spent all my money on jaunts, travel, luxury goods, kicking my heels up something shocking, then went and died? No funeral costs then.
