Had the pleasure of a front row seat when Jeremy Taylor came to Oxford in the 1970s, and I requested this song to be his encore. I'm pretty sure it was written by Jeremy himself, though I have seen it claimed as "Irish" (presumably because it appeared on an album by the Makem Brothers).
