I visited Fiskardo exactly 10 years ago. This is what I wrote then on my blog:
Thence to Fiskardo in the north of Kefalonia. This is a strange place – a small bay entirely surrounded by quays and restaurants – very attractive from the sea – a picture-postard scene. It is very crowded – a hundred or more yachts tie up to the quays. We arrived at about 1200 to get a space – if you arrive after about 1400 you have to anchor off or tie back to the rocks. There were at least 3 flotillas there.

But if you walk 50 metres back from the waterfront there’s nothing; the place is like a filmset. We didn’t like it: we had planned to stay 2 nights but left the next morning.

To Kioni on Ithaca: at last this Sun Odyssey* had reached Ithaca! Kioni is really attractive, and also very busy, but a real village – unlike Fiskardo.
Has is changed?

(Sun Odyssey was the type of boat we were sailing.)
