Oooh yes Jon, we know Ronaldo's in Sheringham very well. On our way down to the sea, we always stop at their little window and get two vanilla cones. Then we lean on the sea wall (with those lovely pictures of historic times, fishermen, lifeboats etc) and look out at the horizon.

Husband never fails to say exactly the same things EVERY time:-

"Isn't the sea big eh?"
"Yes, it certainly is."
"And so cold!"
"Yes, it's very cold."
"And the tide goes in and out doesn't it?"
"Yes, that's right."
"This ice-cream is freezing my mouth."
"You always say that!"
"But it IS delicious!"

It's incredible, but this exact dialogue takes place every blooming time, like Groundhog Day! I can never help dissolving into giggles.

He absolutely adores Sheringham, and so do I. Especially when the Potty Festival is on. We both love watching Morris dancing.
