Linda, thank you for a timely revival of this thread...I was beginning to think it was about to go extinct! The folk scene in Essex was great fun,loads of clubs, enthusiastic audiences & plenty of local talent. 'Expensive' guests like Paul Simon provided the icing on the cake. Very happy days.
