Those parcels appear to be small enough they may go through the Post Office "Informed Delivery" system - I read in the NY Times that the postal authorities were searching for photos of more bomb parcels that way. As part of the sorting process all mail passes over a scanner that sorts and directs it. This process captures a photo of each piece, so someone at the post office had the bright idea of letting people know what was headed their way if they wish to sign up for the free service.

I use Informed Delivery - ever since learning about it a few weeks ago I check and see if there is anything at my post office box, saving me a trip if there is nothing of consequence there. So far I've used it by going to the site and clicking the Informed Delivery button and it eventually shows me each letter, but it's slow, takes several minutes to locate my few pieces of mail, so searching the whole system is probably a ponderous process. I'll switch to the email notification and it will be there, one more thing cluttering my email box, but easy to open and see. Perhaps the postal inspector headquarters has a few tools for examining size, font, envelope color, etc.
