Thanks McGrath and Sooz. I know the Brown Cow well enough, but it never crossed my mind it would have a website (kinda spoils the imnage!). I'd already noticed your club Sooz, and with this prompting I intend to get there soon. (A journely that will certainly challenge, and probably defeat, my commitment to public transport. Which would be a pity. with all that real ale on tap.)

And BTW Kevin, did you see ever see my query in another thread about whether you ever ran into an old hack called Les Mitchell?
