Ok, so Child got it from the Harris's, Andy Irvine got it from Child, and Richard Thompson got it from Andy Irvine's Willie o Winsbury. And the Harris's seem to have got their ballads from oral tradition. So it is a traditional tune, although not traditionally the tune to Willie o Winsbury.
