Ongoing trial and error EQing of my recorded tracks. Luckily my playing seems pretty consistent, so the process is streamlined somewhat, but getting the mud out of bass tracks, preserving the shimmer of treble tracks without them sounding strident or shrill, etc. In a perverse way I enjoy all this.
