I note the post from Nov 02, where reference is made to Birmingham City Football Club having it as their club theme song. Ipswich Town had it long before then, back in the early 60s when Alf Ramsey was manager (before he managed England) and ITFC won the Division 1 championship (i.e.top dogs, as that was before there was a Premiership.) Don't know how many times we sang that song when the whole town congregated outside Ipswich Corn Exchange to welcome the triumphant team!
