Just heard the news. A large part of my growing up (or not growing up)has suddenly been taken from us, aged 95. He showed that 'super-heroes' could also be men with feet of clay. Teenage angst was summed up by Pater parker (Spider-Man)
The obit just shown on BBC news included many clips of his cameo appearances in the films based on his characters.
