Instead of cleaning house and getting ready for next week's holiday meal and family gathering, I spent today at the big box hardware stores buying fencing materials. Tomorrow I'll dig around in the garden and see if there are any sweet potatoes from over the summer. If not, I need to buy a turkey and sweet potatoes; otherwise, only a turkey. Typically, the sweet potatoes in my garden are mutant giants because I wait till the end of the season to dig.
