I remember "How Long" from my Grandfather:

G: "How Long is a Chinaman."

Me: "I don't know, Grampa. How Long is a Chinaman?"

G: "That's right!"

Me: "What is?"

G: "How Long is a Chinaman!"

Me: "I still don't know..."

G: "That's why I'm telling you: 'How Long is a Chinaman!'"

Me: (uncertainly) "Oh. Umm, thank you."

G: (with a small smile and a wink) "You're a Welshman!"
