Now maybe you don't imagine alien cats on other planets, but suppose you were a sci fi writer for 'space cats' and if planet Feline were twice as big as Earth, the kitties would be 4 times smaller to cope with the 'extra' gravity and TIME itself would move slower, allowing for whopping life spans. If this super Earth orbited a red dwarf star in a goldilocks zone their eyes would evolve as big as possible for the low light. Perhaps they would slowly grow so clever as to write about the adventures of giant hot Earth cats that would live quick and die young.
Now space dogs (Annubi) have loyalty issues and like Earth dogs, do not see eye to eye with cats.
