You put your information on that (prefer silver to gold, allergic to llamas, what you like to read, listen to, etc.) You read your Santee's preferences. Then you can get on to Mudcat, log out and torment your santee, and log in again if you wish. Then you send out a present, and you receive a present. It takes longer to explain it than to do it.
