Anna Tam at the Colindale Folk Club Monday 10th Dec.

Last Sunday saw the start of Advent and our young club has the tradition of welcoming former Mediaeval Baebe, Anna Tam to lead us in carol singing. It might feature playing of the nyckelharpa, the viola da gamba or a hurdy-gurdy.

Floor spots start at 8:30 and will include blues man Chris Channing. Free entry, good food and a friendly pub - the Chandos Arms, 31 Colindale Avenue, Colindale, NW9 5DS.
The pub was a finalist for this year's Best Live Entertainment Pub.

PS. If you want more carols in a pub then you might consider joining me on the evening of Thursday, 20th December at JJ Moons close to Kingsbury station. The Catholics, Anglicans, Methodists and Baptists join forces to bring some joyful carol singing to the pub regulars. A happy event.
