Some years ago I heard a song in which these words were used:

                  The day the hippies came to town

That may not be the right title nor do I remember any other words.It was
a humorous song I thought Dick McCormack (the U.S. senator and singer/songwriter ) performed or even may have written it but I cannot find any facts about this.Can anyone help me with this, please?
