An individual identified as Shane McBride was arrested on Thursday while ringing a bell in front of a local liquor store. A store customer became suspicious when he handed McBride a five dollar donation and, instead of putting the money in the collection bucket, McBride pocketed the money, went into the liquor store, and emerged a few minutes later with a bottle of Boone's Farm apple wine. The customer called police who arrested McBride for fraudulent solicitation and impersonating a human being.
