Chemex is getting to be a generic term for the cone shaped filter and holder, of which there are several varieties. When I make coffee, I prefer the paper filter, as it is easier to keep clean than the fancy wire mesh cone. It is a pretty idiot proof way to make a decent cup of java.
Personally, I am primarily a tea drinker.
