Thread Name: Lyr Req: Falladay? / Fallaldy (The Corries)
Subject: Lyr Add: FALLADAY? / FALLALDY (The Corries)
What are the lyrics for the chorus of 'Falladay' by the Corries? This is a Youtube link to the song: It is sung to a popular bagpipe tune called 'The Cock of the North'.
I mainly have trouble with the first line of the chorus, and as for the rest, I am somewhat sure about.
It's mainly the accent I can't make out, though I did try to write what I heard. This was what I believe was sung:

VERSE 1:
Maybe yer thinkin' the Corries are rotten,
Maybe yer thinkin' they're great.
We dinnae care; ye can think what ye like,
As long as ye paid for your seat.

CHORUS:
Hey falladay! Hey falladay! ________
Hey falladay! Hey falladay! Up the leg o' your drawers.

VERSE 2:
Maybe yer thinking that Roy is handsome,
Maybe yer thinking he's not.
But take it from me ye can take it for nothing,
He's really a drunken old sot.

CHORUS
Hey falladay! Hey falladay! ________
Hey falladay! Hey falladay! Up the leg o' your drawers.

VERSE 3:
Maybe yer thinking that Ronnie's athletic,
Maybe yer thinking he's fat.
Ronnie's the faither o' seventeen children,
What are ye thinking o' that?

CHORUS:
Hey falladay! Hey falladay! ________
Hey falladay! Hey falladay! Up the leg o' your drawers.
