Thread Name: Folklore: Rooster-Hen-Pullet Child's Rhyme/Game ??
Subject: Anybody remember the actions??
Is anybody familiar with this American children's/baby's Rhyme/Game/Fingerplay ????????
While playing with our 12 month old grandson, I recalled it from many years ago, but I'm unsure of the specifics. The adult says "Rooster, Hen, Pullet", and on the word "Pullet", the child's nose is pulled.   I can't seem to recall what is done on the words, "Rooster, Hen". In the back of my mind, I'm thinking that the adult's finger touches the child's forehead on "Rooster", and then touches the child's chin on the word, "Hen". I'm quite certain that it ends with a pull of the nose on "Pullet".
