Lots of information on t'interweb, Thompson. We did a lot of research - let Google be your friend - about what elements need to be in a dog's raw diet, the 80-10-10 rule, making up your own balanced raw food, commercially-produced raw foods, yadda yadda.

Too much to learn for me to go through it all here, but we ended up, after some trial and error, using commercially prepared raw feeds, which we supplemented with e.g. raw tripe, rabbit with fur, and other proteins which included a percentage of bone.

It's a very interesting topic to bone-up on (pun intended!).
