Great Story Vic!   My most vibrant memory of wee Freddy was in the club one night after an old firm game, the two sets of supporters were in bevvied up to the neck and Freddy decided to treat us to his interpretation of Florence Wilson's poem "The Man from God Knows Where"
After a little preamble, of he went in his rough Monaghan brogue, the whole place which a few minutes previously had been Bedlam fell into complete silence and when he finished "and the man who had died in Downpatrick Jail was the man from god knows where" the hall erupted with wild cheering and Freddy was "treated" for the rest of the night by both sets of supporters!
