I was in 7th grade when I was first taught about the double slit experiment and the implications it has for quantum field theory by Mr. Daly my Earth Science teacher. 60 years later my understanding has has managed to progress about 1/10 of 1 %.

Reggie, if you are out there can you explain it in terms a child can understand? For a species that got it wrong we sure have used partial knowledge of electrons and photon waves effectively to the point where relative idiots can correspond via computers.
