"Inchoate" would be more at home, it seems to me,
in H. P. Lovecraft's fiction with its horrors and paranoias,
and its sense of something too large to fight with,
controlling things from the shadows.

D. H. Lawrence, I haven't read everything of his.
Whatever had "inchoate" in it, I didn't read,
because I would recall if I had.
Now, the notorious LCL I read cover to cover,
and if anything in THERE was inchoate, I don't recall it.
