This is addressed to the people who have already posted in this thread a number of times, and who are still posting, in an attempt to keep a laugh going or discuss a topic other than the actual idea behind this thread.

For some of the newer members, let me explain something. A convention that is seldom used here at the Mudcat is when someone says " 'Nuff said." When it is used, however, it's a good idea to respect it. It means, "I'm being as polite as I'm going to be, but DROP IT." I guess the penalty for not honoring that hint would be losing the respect of the person who declared " 'Nuff said."

As explained above, this thread was started in response to one aimed at me and activities associated with me. So the one who can claim the right to say " 'Nuff Said" on this matter would be ME. I did say it on another one of these threads to forestall people feeling a need to defend what needed no defending; it was respected and I appreciate that.

This thread provided a light relief to the heaviness of the idea of flaming, for a time, and while that was its focus I had no problem. But now it's gotten several other agendas mixed in that could run on and on ad nauseum. If you really want to address a serious subject-- please, would you start your own thread with a title that lends an opportunity to make a start at a reasonable discussion? Just because this topic restimulated a concern you have, does not mean you have to use this thread as the platform to address it.
