I believe that a large percentage of the public because of the high decibels of rock music
have hearing loss. They require the music to be loud so that they can hear it.

It's a know axiom that in a mix of a professional recording, it's advisable to hear the final mix in a low decibel level to know whether the instruments and vocals are balanced properly.
