Actually, Don, a ranking of 22 is pretty good for a vacuum cleaner. They're so universally crappy that the ranking system starts at 20. There are none that are worthy of rankings between 1 and 19.

And the feature that garnered the top-ranked model (#20) its place has nothing to do with ease of use or reliability. Its body is designed in such a way that, when it completely dies after 18 months of being a total pain in the ass to use, it can easily be converted into an attractive lawn ornament.
