The network television channel that goes by CW
is seriously preparing a new series
that will use the actual 'Nancy Drew' books.
Announcements are in the press
about the casting of various actors,
and the order placed for a pilot episode.

I know there have been isolated forays into Nancy Drew land
on film,
but this is the first that I have heard
of the development of a multi-episode series
that references the novels.
