The OED does not record *any* of the pronunciations of "asphalt" represented here with s>sh or ph>p or a>e. The one it gives first has the same vowel for both a's (as in "cat"); the one it gives second (and the one I have always heard in America) has the second syllable like "fault". It also records an old pronunciation with the primary stress on the second syllable.
