Donny - When I was in my 20s my Doctor sent me to a hypnotist..
I was open minded and receptive to new/different ideas..

After all I'd been enthusiastic to experiment with mushrooms and opiated black hash in my teens...

So I sat there relaxing in the tranquility of the situation while Mr Hypno did his thing..
and waited.. and waited.. and waited.. until nothing happened..

apart from the hypnotist getting more and more frustrated.. and irritable..

..then giving up in failure and tetchily blaming me for being unco-operative and the wrong kind of subject..
That bloke obviously needed to chill out more..

Well that was a wastes of time, but I bet he still billed the National Health Service...

That was in Bristol where I met my mrs and was for most of my 20s
deeply immersed in one of the most alternative culture cities in England..

Think permanent Glastonbury Festival, but in bricks and concrete...

We'd move back in a flash, but it's too expensive now for ordinary folks to live there..

Expect many of the London protesters to have some connection with Bristol...???
