The version we sang at scout camp in the early sixties included four or five of the of the verses above, wheelbarr-i-ow, bicyc-i-al, fish & chip potato cart, some sort of bus but I forget the details, some sort of refuse collection ditto. It ended with "A poor old man was crossing the road, crossing the road, crossing the road, A poor old man was crossing the road, When along came a man in a TANK!"
