My fave tomato salad recipe is in a book I have owned for yonks. Chop or slice tomatoes and a clove of garlic. Mix together in a bowl and add lemon juice, olive oil and some fresh basil leaves. Let it marinate for about an hour before serving. The flavours infuse through the tomatoes. Simple but yum!
