Thread Name: BS: US (California) Law Question
Subject: RE: BS: US (California) Law Question
As one of the thousands of persons who recently experienced total loss from a fire, I may tend to sympathize with the fire survivors/evacuees.....6 months ago the most viscious fire ever destroyed over 15.000 homes, 85 humans and countless other living things, vehicles, over 150,000 acres of land destroyed. If this is the situation those folks went through, no wonder they have been traumatized. I do not know the terminology you mention, but just wanted to shed some light on how these people might be feeling. there are still many people living in very sub standard living conditions.. there are so many thousands of people who were made homeless by this indcident, some are still living in tents, campers, hotel rooms, FEMA trailers and other make-shift situations....including "couch surfing" We stayed in 8 different places before we landed in a home. If these folks have gone thru a similar situation to what we have experienced, they may not be "scammers" ... i hope it works out for the best for all involved.
