It's Doncaster Folk Festival this weekend!

Concerts, a ceilidh, dancing and singarounds galore.

Tonight, (Friday 17 May) there's a ceilidh at The Deaf School with Alter Ego, whilst over at The Ukranian Club we have Dave Burland's Awkward Squad, The Mile Roses and Alan Wood. (Don't forget to buy a drink for the handsome young man on the sound desk.)

Saturday, as well as dancing around the town centre, there are afternoon singarounds at Brewery & Tap (downstairs) and The Salutation and a musicians' session at The Mason's Arms.

Also in the afternoon, there is a concert upstairs at The Brewery & Tap with Clarty Sough, The Davenports and Steel Songbirds.

Saturday evening concert at The Ukranian Club features Blackbeard's Tea Party, Melrose Quartet and Milbrook & Lomas.   (Don't forget to buy a drink for the handsome young man on the sound desk.)

Sunday sees a survivors' singaround atThe Mason's Arms at lunchtime and, whilst not part of the actual festival per se, The Cast is hosting a Kate Rusby concert that night.
