There was a time when I and Mike Storey were producing the tape magazine Folk Voice in the UK. We were in regular touch with Jimmie Driftwood and were set to meet up with him on a proposed visit by him to the UK, but at the very last minute his trip was cancelled due a family tragedy - something to do with one or two of his sons. Does anyone have details of this?
