For the first few minutes I had more doubts about Weaver's English accent,
but got used to it as I became engrossed in the movie...

Afterwards, I did a google on him..
turns out he was actually born in Africa to Engilsh parents
before becoming better known as an Aussie...

A bit like Mel Gibson actually being born a yank...

Or Bobby the Bruce, an Essex boy...
