Thread Name: BS: Disgraceful BBC
Subject: RE: BS: Disgraceful BBC
We have Sky, Amazon Prime, and Netflix,
and haven't watched terrestrial TV since the last digital channel reshuffle
rendered our rooftop arial useless.
It's a just about justifiable combined all-in home entertainment expense,
as we no longer go out drinking at getting on for a fiver a pint...
and have given up the costly gym membership

So it's a simple matter of personal priorities..
Same as those few cranky folks boasting how clever they are to never watch telly ever..
Whatever floats yer boat...

We still watch new BBC content, but now find it far more convenient to download on catch up from the Sky box.
Long gone are the days fretting about setting the video timer...

My mum is 87, stubbornly lives on her own, and keeps the TV on any random channel for company.

Now wew've got to weigh up the pros and cons of applying for pension credit.
Which we are suspicious of...???
The tories don't usually hand out benefits without sneakily grabbing it back again from other welfare entitlements...
