Thanks for the link. My present keyboard spans four octaves because it has buttons that raise or lower the pitch. They don't mention anything like that on the page.

Do you own that keyboard, PFR? How big a range does it have?

Your answer while practical, doesn't address the mystery of what's going on, and I would like to know that.
