There seems to be a regular bus service from Edinburgh to Stranraer. I don't know if it stops at the Cairnryan ferry terminal but if not there is a local bus from one to t'other. Cairnryan to Belfast ferry is regular. It would take you most of the day though. Maybe hire a car? Good luck!
