Well damn. The ceiling fell in Monday night in my office. I haven't yet gone to the huge mess and fuss (and expense) of fixing the shifting foundation so nails pulled loose from sheet rock and POW!!! you have a mess of gypsum and dusty insulation all over the place. But MOM was so impressed with how empty the room looked once I excavated the NEW computer and all of the equipment (temporarily living in the dining room) that she declared she wanted to set up her camping cot and sleep under the stars.

I took away her adult beverage and explained that she'd be staring up at the underside of the roof, though the fresh air coming through is rather nice.
