Way back in the early 1960's I saw a young woman perform "When the Blues Chase Up a Rabbit" at the 2nd Fret(a coffee house in Philadelphia. The guitar work was exquisite blues(not jazzy) and the voice was more country blues or even delta blues. I don't know if she ever got to record the song. Would love to remember her name and find out if she ever recorded this song.
