Big Al,

In answer to your question.

Agreeing a trade deal with the UK would be “enormously difficult” as “trust would be destroyed.”

Having had the EU persuade the UK to accept a one-sided 'deal' and having that rejected by Parliament, one wonders why the EU think that trust has been destroyed.

Re-negotiate a more balanced 'deal' and maybe trust may be rebuilt. Germany needs the UK market to survive and the EU is doing its best to commit suicide. A no deal Brexit will be very difficult for both the EU and the UK, but as the UK's productivity has diminished due to the EU, the UK starts from a low level where the only way is up.

Germany is at a high level where the only way is down. Why should the UK buy overpriced vehicles from Germany when the ROW sell vehicles which are better and cheaper?.

Why should the UK buy overpriced agricultural products, due to the CAP, when the ROW sell better, cheaper and earlier products?.

Why should the UK buy overpriced French wine when Australia's wine is cheaper and better? I could go on and on, but that's enough for now.

And on top of all that, look at those French and German ministers in senior EU positions and that Polish bastard, they are all a pack of cunts.
