Most of the calls at work are from debt collecting agencies or web designers.I usually turn the tables on the debt collectors by letting them go on a bit - at their expense! - and then offering the services of our accounts clerk 'who is ever so good - she would improve your success rate no end!!'...
As for the web designers, I let them dig their own hole as they tell me what's wrong with our website, then gently (!) point out that i designed it, and it is sufficient for our needs!!
They've got to earn a crust somehow, I suppose - what annoys me is they are probably earning more than me!!
