Even though it gets played ad nauseum, "No Man's Land" still is very difficult for me to play. Makes me see faces and feel feelings that I have worked hard to put behind me. Usually, if someone makes me sing this in an intimate setting, I end up choking back tears.............or just giving in to them. When one has met death and come to know its ugly ass in an intimate way..........well, this song makes you realize that it could have been you. And it also makes one imagine those that they knew, and what might have been had "man's blind indifference to his fellow man" not been allowed............ Good man ya are, Eric. I guess if I met you, I would have to thank you.
