Yes, it’s not as bad an affliction as say collecting cars, which obviously take up more space, tend to depreciate in value more and are generally environmentally unsound anyway. Those who trade up with instruments, ie. one in and one out, have the right idea to my mind, but it’s not so easy these days because of the loss of high street music shops and the rise of single transactions via the Internet.
