I have a mere four Anglo concertinas, in three different pairs of keys, three of which I play, plus one duet which I hardly ever play (but keep because my parents bought it for me) and one English which I can't play but recently had comprehensively serviced and have now lent to someone who does play it. Unplayed are two autoharps (inherited from my grandfather), a melodeon or two and a pump organ. Three of the Anglos are top quality and should be easily sellable for about what they cost me, or more, if and when I need the cash.

But none of the collections described above come anywhere near the late lamented Tom Paley's collection of fiddles.
