All stories which have been given (apparently) to "Associated Press". Have any of these women given their stories to the police? There is no evidence that the police have been informed in the article (also by) Associated Press.

Is US law the same as UK? Innocent until proven guilty?
If so, why are Associated Press making such a big thing about unsubstantiated reports?
