One more reminiscence about sweet corn on the cob.

How my mom found out about
corn on the cob
and pressure cookers, I do not know,
but the two went together, in her kitchen,
as strictly as white with rice.

We gobbled it down as though we had all changed into hogs.
(provided sufficient margarine/butter and salt, that is)

The pressure cooker, I reckon,
would shorten considerably the cooking time.
